ABOUT THE COURSE:

This curriculum provides essential information for working with people who have pre-diabetic or diabetic conditions with a focus on those with special needs. Topics include:

- Coping with Diabetes: Strategies and More - A closer look into helping those with Pre-Diabetes/Diabetes deal with the daily and long term disease management using several methods to develop and utilize support teams effectively.

- Meal Planning Structure and Design - Introduction into personalized nutritional strategies for better glycemic control and lifestyle modification.
